1. New Features, Better Experience: What’s Changing for You

The original formatting of your analyzed documents

Enjoy a more comfortable reading experience with the new e-reader mode in the Points of Interest tab. The layout elements of the original document are now rendered more accurately: titles, tables, bulleted lists, bold or italicized text, and images. This allows you to view a parsed document that more closely resembles its original presentation, rather than a simple display of the extracted text.

💡 Reading comfort, accurate display, and easier comprehension

Launch deep rephrasing detection directly from your report

[Compilatio Magister+]

Available since late 2025, semantic similarity detection provides more accurate analyses by identifying rephrasings of meaning. Until now, if your Compilatio account allowed this detection, you (the user) had to go to the Settings tab of your account to choose whether or not to run this process on the analyzed documents.

Now, you can enable this analysis with a single click directly from the Summary view of a document’s analysis report. Your document is then automatically reanalyzed, and the report updates once the process is complete. A few minutes later, you’ll have an enhanced and more accurate report.

Instantly view the nature of your institution’s analyses for better management

The “Usage Statistics” tab has been enhanced with a new, clear, and colorful chart that shows the breakdown of detection types across all analyzed documents.

You can immediately identify the proportion of text potentially generated by AI, unrecognized languages, grammar and spelling errors, as well as semantic and syntactic similarities.

A simple, visual overview that makes it easier to monitor your institution’s activity and helps you better manage usage.

Gingo: The AI That’s Revolutionizing Test Creation and Grading

Compilatio has been developing and marketing Gingo, an AI assistant designed to help teachers create and grade tests. Day by day, the service is being enhanced so it can seamlessly integrate into teachers’ daily routines. The latest updates continue to prioritize:

  • the teacher’s full control over grading, with the ability to approve or adjust the AI’s suggestions at every level, whether it’s the overall assessment or detailed grading per question.
  • a richer, more personalized, and more educational assessment, featuring both grading via a rubric and personalized comments highlighting strengths and areas for improvement, to better support each student’s progress.
  • an ergonomic and intuitive interface, designed to be easy to learn and enjoyable to use every day.

3. Compilatio around the World and in France

Compilatio is clearly establishing itself as a global player

Compilatio now operates without borders and supports numerous educational institutions far beyond its French and European roots. Driven by momentum across multiple continents, the end of this quarter was marked by several international events.

  • In India, discussions with local stakeholders confirmed a strong global trend: in the face of the transformation of education and research by AI, institutions are shifting from a simple focus on plagiarism detection toward a comprehensive approach to academic and scientific integrity, the responsible use of artificial intelligence, and manuscript preparation.
  • In France, these discussions continued at the “Bharat Innovates 2026” exhibition, which brought together Indian and French institutions to discuss issues related to cooperation in higher education, research, innovation, and knowledge sharing.
  • In Portugal, Compilatio has sponsored the International Conference on Research and Action on Academic Integrity in Coimbra for years. It is an initiative of IRAFPA 🔥

Compilatio is also growing in Annecy

To support all these exciting new developments, our teams at the Annecy headquarters continue to expand, both in the technical and sales departments. New talent has recently joined the team, and there’s more to come! You can check out our upcoming job openings on Linkedin at any time 👇👇🏾
