How does OCR work?

Digitize the document by scanning it or simply taking a photo with a smartphone.
Upload the file to the platform (PDF, JPEG, or PNG): OCR automatically converts the handwriting into usable text.
Run the analysis: the extracted content is analyzed to detect suspicious text, just as with any other digital document.
Review the analysis report to see details on similarities, text potentially generated by AI, spelling or grammar errors, and more.

This allows you to easily integrate handwritten copies into your proofreading processes, without the need for retyping or additional steps.
